History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Bernard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Description: He wears a brown vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His pastel leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his brown boots flare out at the collars. He carries a battered hammer and tarnished club as well. He has done his best to style his silver hair to look like a famous performer. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shane fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Detective. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He struck the Detective job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult; and to be a guard again
