Description: A middle-aged man, he very much looks the part of a Courier, and is pretty ugly. He has no hair. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He tends to his Courier job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: This younger middle-aged man is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His auburn hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Sage business.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He is portly but not overly obese. He has done his best to style his blonde hair to look like a famous performer. His gray eyes peer out from beneath his Stetson black hat.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Sailor for hire.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and balancing his hectic life and new sailor responsibilities is difficult

Description: He is a mite stocky and is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. His hair is long and red with streaks of auburn, and is pulled back with small blue clips. His beard is auburn, braided, and well cared for. His skin is flawless and his brown eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: He tends to wear a large brown jacket. He carries a battered nunchaku and tarnished dagger as well. He wears a colorful flower in his silver hair. He has hazel eyes and a brown hat with a tan feather.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He uses divination through singing.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Gunter was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gunter fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
