Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. The war was a terrible time for him, and John does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born in the north. When John reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Doctor but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and many illithids want him driven away

His head has been shaved. His blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born in the west to a Sage, Dean learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Sage. He has achieved small success as a Sage.
