History: He was born in the west. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Knight hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Manfred lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Heward hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
