Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.
History: Chad lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: 6'3" and muscular, this southern man is typically in his Baker uniform. He wears his golden hair down. His green eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Bertram enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: Bertram was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He's also a talented Fortune-teller, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, William will drive conversation. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: He was born in a small island village. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
