He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Shane hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Shane and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Mayor for hire.

Motivation: To be a Laborer again; and to reunite with his old friends
