History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
