Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Born in the south to a Guard, Ralf learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Guard. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Guard for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Adventurer born in the past three hundred years. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He's also a talented Spice Merchant, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and sabotage a competitor

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 5'8". He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head, and his gloved hand is found clutching a quarterstaff. He has auburn hair. His skin is flawless and his blue eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Miles was born the youngest of three triplets. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and to unite with his sister

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears pastel trousers with white and violet striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. His auburn hair is long and unkept. His fierce amber eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Robert grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Robert. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Locksmith work with an outfit from a few towns over. Locksmith work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
