Personality: Gunter is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Gunter was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Bather. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his singing with anyone who is interested.

History: Ernest lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and an old rival family wants him found
