History: Hugh was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. Personality: He is happy with his job as a Shipwright. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was born into a rich family. His first spouse was a Spy, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Personality: Frederick is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. Frederick enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Fortune-teller. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Fortune-teller.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Conrad was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
