History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Courier work with an outfit from a few towns over. Courier work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: He is a Barber first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Barber. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
