History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Alex was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Alex alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Alex was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Born in the south to a Dyer, Conrad learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Conrad took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up lance and armor he uses now. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Dilettante. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

His amber eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Arnold speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is a great chef.

History: Arnold was born the youngest of three triplets. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
