History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He now owns his own business.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he wears tan leather gloves, a tan jacket, and tight pants. His white hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a top hat. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears suspenders and black workpants. His shirt is pastel, and he wears a heavy black leather apron most of the time. His hair is blonde and curly. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his blue eyes.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Ralf was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: The child of a Spice Merchant, who enjoyed hunting, Alexandre was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. After a long history of fighting, Alexandre and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a simple violet robe with blue stripes complete with hood. His golden hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. A true patriot, Theodoric would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.
