Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Norman grew up listening to his mother's many stories. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When Alex reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Patrick was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: He wants revenge against drow; and a deep hatred of drow

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Miles was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Description: This slender man stands about 5'9". He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with wide-brimmed hat. He keeps his long chestnut hair kept up in a rat tail. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He takes great joy in being the best Layabout in town.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bernard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is greedy; and balancing his hectic life and new layabout responsibilities is difficult
