Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Born in the east to a Sage, Anselm learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sage hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He became a Sage soon after.

Motivation: To be a Stableman again.

Description: This tall, slender man is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His hair is long and brown with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small red clips. His beard is black, braided, and well cared for. His fierce amber eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was born in the west. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Map Maker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Map Maker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and sabotage a competitor

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears tattered old clothes. His black hair is heavily combed to the right. He has brown eyes and a pastel hat with a grey feather.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. At some point he was captured by orcs and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

Description: This southern man is abnormally tall. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His auburn hair is singed and shortened. He has several tiny aquamarine earrings on each ear.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born in the south to a Brewer, Reynard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Reynard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Reynard. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears a worn and beaten armor. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy white hair. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. A gifted student he started as a Bookbinder, but he got bored and became a Ploughman. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
