Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gilbert fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Alex is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born in the west. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He struck the Courier job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he is unsatisfied with his job

He sports a long red beard, and similarly colored long hair. His green eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Randal lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Randal and his spouse have recently divorced.
