History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miner. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Miner for hire.

History: Roger was born with his father's beautiful face. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
