Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. Richard enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Richard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Lewis lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: This man wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty white coat over it. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized opal on his right hand. He wears a deerstalker hat to cover his moderate length blonde hair. His green eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Shepherd profession.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gifted student he started as a Shepherd, but he got bored and became a Hunter. He's also a talented Shepherd, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and wants to open a new tavern

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.
