He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Gerard was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He bought a lance and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
