Description: This man is very fat, and wears brown robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a hand crossbow, but if one is not available he will default to his shortspear. He wears his golden hair down. His gray eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Description: His left side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears a tattered pair of loose grey pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. His golden hair is unkempt and raggedy. His fierce hazel eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: This slender man stands about 5'9". He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with wide-brimmed hat. He keeps his long chestnut hair kept up in a rat tail. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He takes great joy in being the best Layabout in town.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bernard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is greedy; and balancing his hectic life and new layabout responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Richard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Description: He is a pot bellied western man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He prefers to wear flannel. His long blonde hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: John lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
