History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. His first spouse was a Cook, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. After a long history of fighting, Thomas and his spouse have recently divorced.

Ernest's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
