However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Roland never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he wants revenge against dire rats
