History: Bernard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. After coming to the age of reason, Alex took it upon himself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Manfred is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. The war was a terrible time for him, and Manfred does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Manfred was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is greedy

History: Born in the east to a Bather, Everard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Armorer, but he got bored and became a Bather. He struck the Bather job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and balancing his hectic life and new bather responsibilities is difficult

History: Gifted from a young age, Gunter studied abroad. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Banker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.
