History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Jocelyn hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Jocelyn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Jocelyn was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.
