History: He is a Jackalwere in disguise. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and a deep hatred of dire rats

History: Guy was born with his mother's beautiful face. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He's in love; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: Born in the west to a Jeweler, Bernard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Junk Dealer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Jeweler, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and to be a junk dealer again

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Human compassion; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people
