History: Adam hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Adam was a troubled youth. Adam decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Personality: He is a Locksmith first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He tends to his Locksmith job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and wants to open a new tavern
