History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Rolf never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Adam alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Heward grew up listening to his father's many stories. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
