History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright blue and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His black hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. John took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up pickaxe and armor he uses now. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He wears a green armored body suit, with a simple grey line shooting up and back down. He has done his best to style his silver hair to look like a famous performer. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. Roger is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.
