History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Bernard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cook hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
