Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Born in the north to a Fortune-teller, Jocelyn learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He's also a talented Spice Merchant, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He tends to his Spy job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

Description: This western man is abnormally tall. He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide his balding. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. The war was a terrible time for him, and Balimaar does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He married young, but lost his spouse to dire rats. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and someone believes him a fraud
