Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Richard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He's also a talented Crown-heir, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Robert hails from a village terrorized by drow. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cook. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
