Description: A 5'5" eastern man, he wears a tight fitting green shirt and pants. His black hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His violet eyes peer out from beneath his feathered green hat.
Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Trym grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.
Motivation: To unite with his sister; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: He stands about 5'2" and is dressed in earthy colors with a grey and white handkerchief worn on his left side. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. His tied-back hair is brown. His brown eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.
History: Balimaar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears tattered old clothes. His hair is long and chestnut with streaks of auburn, and is pulled back with small white clips. His beard is auburn, braided, and well cared for. His ears are large.
Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is an amazing painter.
History: Born in the west to a Scribe, Thomas learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He became a Scribe soon after.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. He has a large brown mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his violet robe, marred by beers. His hair is short and blonde. His amber eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Gerald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.
History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
