Description: This man stands a little under 5'0" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a pastel collared shirt and green pants. He accessorizes with a black scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt. His black hair and beard is wavy and long. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: He is a Servant first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: The child of a Tailor, who enjoyed hunting, Bertram was taken on many hunting expeditions. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Bertram alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He bought a sword and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: He is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. His brown hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a feathered hat. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. John took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up sword and armor he uses now. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
