Description: A pudgy man standing about 6'2" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a robe, a symbol of magic around his neck, and a sai on his belt. His hair is long and red with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small yellow clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. His violet eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He got into the Painter business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Beggar, but he got bored and became a Painter. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. Ralf is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Ralf lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
