Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was taken from his home at a very young age. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. John was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Balimaar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Balimaar was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Balimaar's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Nicholas isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He got into the Dyer business at a young age. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
