History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Raymond alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Raymond was horrified and prayed that his father was alright.
