He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lewis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Bernard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
