History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Arnold was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: This younger middle-aged man is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes., and a wedding ring on his left hand. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to cover his moderate length white hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Hugh is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Hugh was born with his father's beautiful face. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. History: He was raised in a plains tribe. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
