Description: This late middle aged man is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and tan, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems and is in decent physical shape. His head has been shaved. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Description: He is a pot bellied eastern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He wears his red hair down. His violet eyes peer out from beneath his broad black hat.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Assassin business.

History: Born to a Courier, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Assassin hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Apothecary.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears green leather gloves, a green jacket, and tight pants. He sports a flattop hair cut. His eyes are hazel and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Manfred isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Manfred fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
