After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Roger was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
