History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Kyle's homeland. Kyle decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He got into the Laborer business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Laborer. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and to be a detective again

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. Kody is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

He carries with him a set of sickles, each one with a aquamarine on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His auburn hair is matted, messy, and big. This hazel eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Born to a Seamstress, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and a deep hatred of illithids

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Arnold embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
