Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. After a long history of fighting, Gerald and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age his father died while driving off some brigands. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
