Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Anselm's homeland. Anselm decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Anselm fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: An older man who prefers to wear grey clothing when he does not wear armor, he is not a threatening figure. He wears a colorful flower in his white hair. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: Frederick speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Frederick was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Frederick decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He was granted druidic powers by his dying brother.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears light armors faded through time and improper care. His moppish golden hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He has gray eyes.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Miles was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Being a Ploughman kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

He dresses well, wearing pastel shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time, and his gloved hand is found clutching a hammer. His black hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His green eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Richard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mercenary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Richard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

He keeps his silver hair in a pixie cut. His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He's in love; and wants to raise his children well
