History: Born in the west to a Sailor, Clerebold learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
