History: Manfred hails from a village terrorized by drow. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Roger was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Roger's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Aldous was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Personality: Balimaar speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
