History: Born in the east to a Cartwright, Peter learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Rolf was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. With a patchy white beard and wild white hair. His eyes are likewise amber. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wants to work out more often

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born into a rich family. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Butcher. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Butcher.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and balancing his hectic life and new butcher responsibilities is difficult

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is dark but he possesses many pastel ritualistic tattoos. He wears a brown armored body suit, with a simple pastel line shooting up and back down. His silver hair is lengthy. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines brown.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Balimaar embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. The war was a terrible time for him, and Balimaar does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Balimaar and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
