History: Adelard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortbow.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He's also a talented Mercenary, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Interpreter responsibilities is difficult.

He prefers to carry a monstrous two handed axe, but if one is not available he will default to his quarterstaff. He keeps his long silver hair kept up in a rat tail. He has hazel eyes and a green hat with a brown feather.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Personality: John wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: John lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and wants to raise his children well

He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
