History: Gerald was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Hunter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. Roger was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Roger decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
