History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is a great chef.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A freak accident while working with his Sage mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is afraid of men and trembles around them

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
