History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he feels kind of lost in life

Shane liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. History: He was born in the east. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Robert grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Robert. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and doesn't want to be a detective and was forced into it by his family
